The mission of Student Wellness Services (SWS) is to promote and support students' physical, social, emotional, and psychological health and well-being during their time at Kingsborough Community College. We offer direct clinical care, provide referrals to campus and local resources, and assist the larger campus community through outreach, education, consultation, and prevention programs. By initiating dialogues, offering safe spaces, and facilitating workshops and other events, we aim to familiarize stakeholders with our services, educate the community about physical and mental health issues, and reduce the stigma associated with help-seeking.
Our umbrella of services consists of four separate programs - the Wellness Center , and the Health Center . All currently enrolled Kingsborough students are eligible to receive free and confidential services through SWS. Our centers are staffed with licensed health and mental health professionals who are committed to providing services in a safe and supportive environment free of judgment. All centers offer a mix of remote and in-person services.

Outreach services include support sessions, workshops, and presentations on a variety of relevant topics. Women's Center
Room M-382, Ext. 4700 The Women's Center is a welcoming and supportive environment for women to gather, to share, to network and to examine and address the changing roles of women and men in our society. Its main mission is to provide a space for students to develop to their full potential by offering services and resources that seek to enhance their college experience, inclusive of a quiet place to study in between classes. Students in need of "someone to talk to" can access free confidential mental health counseling services. For those students seeking short term clinical services, our trained and dedicated staff will assist students in identifying and achieving goals, problem solving and life skills exploration. The Women's Center provides a space for breastfeeding mothers to pump and store their breast milk while on campus.
In addition, the Center partners with academic departments, programs and clubs to co-sponsor lectures, workshops and seminars aimed at addressing issues impacting our students.
